Public Area Professional

In this course you will learn learn about the fundamental knowledge and processes to be a Public Area Professionals.   

​You will learn the process how to clean public area premises, how to handle lost and found as well as provide additional service for the guest.

The program will last for 2 months, you should complete all learning materials and attending group discussion. At the end of the course, you will receive certificate of accomplishment from The Ministry of Tourism Cambodia.

Apa isi materi kursus Public Area Pro?

Program ini terdiri dari 6 bagian penting bagi kamu seorang Public Area Attendant yang ingin belajar tentang karakter yang dibutuhkan sebagai insan Pariwisata, teknik-teknik dalam memberikan pelayanan yang prima, menguasai teknik-teknik dalam membersihkan area hotel baik area kering maupun basah, membersihkan kaca, furnitur dan berbagai perlengkapan yang ada di hotel maupun fasilitas umum yang memerlukan penanganan pembersihan secara profesional.  ​
Course 1:Core Competency 
in this course you will learn core competency in the format of articles and group discussion 
Course 2: Generic Competency 
in this course you will learn Generic competency in the format of articles and group discussion 
Course 3: Clean public area, facilities and equipment
In this course you will learn the most important techniques when cleaning public area premises with the right tools, materials and equipments. 

This topic is divided into 6 lessons as follow:

Lesson 1: How to Apply Leather Upholstery Cleaning Techniques
Lesson 2: How to Apply Fabric Upholstery Cleaning Techniques  
Lesson 3: How to Apply Glass Surfaces Cleaning Techniques
Lesson 4: Apply Ceilings, Surfaces and Fittings Cleaning Techniques
Lesson 5: Apply Wet Area Cleaning Techniques
Lesson 6: Quiz 


Catatan: Di setiap Lesson, kamu harus menyelesaikan quiz yang terdiri dari 7 soal.
Course 4: ​Provide housekeeping services to guests
In this course you will learn the technique how to provide service to the guests during their stay in your hotel.

This course consist of 6 lessons as follow: 
Lesson 1: How to Receive Housekeeping Requests 
Lesson 2: How to Serve Guest for Housekeeping Requests
Lesson 3: How to Provide Advice to Guest
Lesson 4: How to Coordinate Guest's Request with Other Departments

Course 5: provide lost & found service and facilities
In this course you will learn 5 lessons on how to handle lost and found items

Profil Penyelenggara

​Program Kartu Pra kerja ini adalah hasil kerjasama antara AJAR Hospitality dan Kementerian Ketenagakerjaan RI melalui Balai Besar Pengembangan Latihan Kerja Medan (BBPLK Medan) yang khusus membidangi pelatihan-pelatihan Pariwisata. 

BBPLK Medan adalah institusi pelatihan pertama milik pemerintah yang telah menerapkan mode belajar Hybrid yang merupakan kombinasi  antara Self Paced, Virtual Class, Face to Face dan Praktek yang berbasis kompetensi untuk Industri Perhotelan di Indonesia. Program ini menggunakan pendekatan Pentahelix yang melibatkan Asosiasi dan Industri Pariwisata dalam seluruh proses belajar yang dikelola dengan platform belajar dari AJAR Hospitality.     

Untuk mendukung program belajar dari rumah, BBPLK Medan kembali bekerjasama dengan AJAR Hospitality untuk menghadirkan program belajar dengan mode Self Paced (belajar mandiri) menggunakan basis kurikulum ASEAN yang telah disesuaikan dengan skema SKKNI dengan pendekatan okupasi.
